Each year, Project by Project selects a non-profit partner based on a theme or issue that addresses current needs in the Asian American community. This year, Project by Project SF is partnering with Chinatown Community Development Center (CCDC). Founded over 38 years ago, CCDC is a place-based community development organization serving San Francisco Chinatown and other low income neighborhoods. CCDC plays the roles of neighborhood advocates, community organizers, planners, developers, and managers of affordable housing, serving over 4,000 residents annually. All net proceeds from Plate by Plate ticket sales will be donated to CCDC in support of their tireless efforts.
In addition to the food and beverages, the evening includes silent auction, live music, photobooth, hashtag competitons, and an after party.
